Model years: 1996 and newer.  Using the latest software version of IDS (integrated diagnostic software), reprogram the new module that needs to be installed, all available updates will automatically be installed with the re-flash. Every module from Ford will be blank and the vehicle will not start. For diesels- program new PCM (powertrain control module), or FICM ( fuel injector control module) for the vehicle to start if installing new module.
